Introduction

My Topic:
I chose to research abortions and adoptions because both are popular topics. Many people are familiar with abortions because it is so common and used as an only option. However, many are uneducated about other alternatives such as adoption.

Who I Contacted:
I wrote my letter to Tanya Embrey, an office manager at an abortion clinic called Femi-Care Surgery Center. I chose to write to her because I feel that if she was to inform her clients about the benefits of adoption those families who want children but are unable to conceive will be given the chance to adopt.

Other Possible Choices:
When it came to writing a letter on this topic it was possible that I could have chosen a different route. I could have wrote to someone higher in authority and suggested that they make a change or I could have even wrote to a particular group.

Getting Involved:
If you are interested in getting involved in the process of making a change I would recommend that you do your background research and then take it a step further and write to someone. You don't necessarily have to write to someone high in authority; you could start off by writing to someone such as a small organization suggesting that they make a change. Change doesn't come fast, it happens over time. When it comes to making a change the more people that get involved the better so tell your friends and family about trying to make a difference starting today.

Where to Find More Information:
This blog was done for a class project. My topic was reviewed by not only my professor but also by my classmates.
